Without being pedantic Top Art, I beg to differ, the center was at La judie in the commune of Pressignac in the Charente, it was approx 20/30 kms wide, put a compass in the center and most of it was in the Charente. Anyhow I met a bloke in the local at Pressignac and he knew a bloke who had seen it fall :| :) 8-)

They are very good at making up news stories that mean didly-squat here aren't they.

I once read about a cat that yeah blah blah best in world at doing now't...

but it was the best in France and therefore the whole world.

No hard feelings Top Art. We live near the center, and as we are building a new house, we have dug up tonnes of what is left of the meteorite, it is not a hard rock in small bits but if you hit a big boulder then its like granite, we had to adjust the position of the house a few feet because of one of these big chunks. 8-) Nos
