Eurotunnel used to ban vans etc carrying more than 3 cubic metres of goods (trailers were treated separately)

Looking at their latest Conditions of Carriage I cannot see the rule.

Does anyone know whether it has been lifted or have I just missed it?

TIA

The new rules refer to max metric tonnage (see here). Looks like my wife will still have to curtail her cheese import tendencies!

That's handy Fredm, thanks for the update. I don't know if they ever invoked the 3m2 rule as i traveled several times fully loaded but risking a possible issue. on one occasion stuffed so full of insulation you couldn't have fitted a packet of rizla's in. I cheeked the operative by explaining insulation was 95% air anyway so it shouldn't matter Lol. They laughed too and let be board without trouble.

Thanks Fred. Looks like the 3 metre rule has indeed gone. I did see a few MB Sprinters plus trailers last time - that may be a way to go.
