If you had say 24/48/72 hours to do something... what would you do or visit?

:-? Since I live in the country, I'd probably head for the city!! Beaches? Do you go away on vacations or is living here your vacation? I guess a lot of you go back to England...Since I am not English..I don't think of that as an option...Where would you go? What would you most like to see? dream on...Obreynne :D ;)

Straight off to a town me . . . .

Visit either Milano or Firenze, in that 72 hours sit on as many bar terrasses as possible and drink real coffee ~o) , visit old architecture. Nightclubs, most important. Have to stay in smart hotel.

Snorkeling on coral - I would go to Redang, off the coast of Malaysia, for the pristine reefs.

A September morning just has the sun was riseing

To have a wander around the fields with a springer spaniel at my heel, and a shotgun in my arms, it would not matter whether I had any luck, but just to see the wild life about, mind you a brace of tasty pheasants, a couple of plump pigeons, or a nice fluffy bunny would be nice for the pot, would make my day

Hi Swissie,

I thought that would attract your attention! :))

The wording in my post was quite accurate. WE don't go away much, but I'd like to go to the Lauterbrunnen Valley and surroundings. I don't think y wife would be going, as she hates heights, and I think a trip on a cablecar would be the end of her. So, I have to wangle a trip on my own........somehow........ :(

If I do drive over there one day, I'll let you know and call in! :-bd

Me too. It's my favourite place in the world. I never cease to be amazed by the variety of scenery and the fact that, even though it's not that far from the coast, you can find places where you can walk all day without seeing another soul. If they could just transfer the cooking of Burgundy down there it wouldn't be possible to better it.........

mais non, mais non - ne dit-on pas 'qui aime bien, chatie bien'. Alors on peut rigoler un peu non - but it's true you are the one missing out. Scotland is so beautiful - yes, go and mind where you step. xx

PS Even the French make spelling mistakes (I make plenty in both langs, but Engeland was for jest). So here is a test - can you spot Domy's?
