Try Amazon UK @£177.55 incl. extra VAT and postage to France:

Nintendo Wii Console with Wii Sports + Wii Sports Resort and Motion Plus Controller (Wii)(*Get a selected game free when you buy this from Amazon.co.uk)

or the sexy black one, which currently goes for €260 on their French site but is the same price from the UK:

Nintendo Wii Console (Black) with Wii Sports Resort and Motion Plus Controller (Wii)

Delivery time 3-4 days...

Jack got the black one with the new F1 2009 game and a steering wheel for Xmas. Naturally after much practise he's almost as good as me... :-

Just bought one of the black ones with Sports and Resorts for the better half's birthday. VAT in UK goes back up to 17.5% tomorrow.

Got it at £164.99 delivered UK from play.com, ordered Tues evening, posted yesterday. All UK sites state only allowed to deliver to UK but if you've got someone available that's OK.

I'm coming over on Jan 8th and if all else fails you could get one delivered to me to bring and collect.

Hope to God Kim doesn't sneak on here and read this.

Pip

What a waste of money in my HO !

OH insisted on buying one in the UK before Christmas for our nieces to play with. It's been used twice - sledging and making snow men and animals were (of course!) - much more fun. So it's been out of the box twice. Grrrrrr.

I'm not surprised Swissie, with the novelty of all that snow, great fun :)

They are good fun though with the kids and for all the adults when they come round for drinks. My kids don't like playing bowling or golf with me anymore though, I keep winning :))

Good for you! I don't like it because the movements made on the games bear no resemblance to the real sports -
hey, must be a generation thing! I thought it would be great exercise - but in fact the movements are just flicks - snowboarding and skiing are both boring. it's like eating low cal cheese - I'd rather not bother! :))

I think Jack's barely missed a day without taking a spin on the F1 racing game - certainly the most played-with present he's ever had. It'll depend on the children and the games I suppose...
