First time I have used the dentist (After 5 years here!) and had to have a crown fitted, 589,92€. Job completed on my 3rd visit on the 9th June and cheque for the full amount written but not cashed until 12th June, the same day (12th) CPAM paid in 230,04€. On the 17th I printed off the Payment Statement from the CPAM site and sent it off to our mutuelle, along with the dentist's bills, the next day (18th) and received 350,88€ on the 27th direct into our account. So cost me 9€ and not out of pocket for long at all.

Impressed by CPAM, the Mutuelle AND myself for getting all the paperwork right first time :ymsmug:

We are with Pacifica which we arranged with Cred. Ag. and this is the first major item we have had to use them for.

So are we and have always had the best of service both with dentist work and back in 2004 when I had a hernia op.
Now we give 110% to the French health system.
Mami had spent 24 hours with bad chest pains which were worse when she walked round, yesterday PM phoned our new Dr here in the Dordogne and was given an appointment 15 minutes before his evening surgery, on inspection he couldn't find anything but immediately said Bergerac urgents straight away and wrote a letter to take.
We arrived at 17.30 and after 15 minutes of paperwork
( first visit for either of us) she was taken through for the start of multiple tests, these took five hours after which she was told all were negative and an ordinance given for some medication.
Still don't know the cause, indigestion perhaps but it doesn't usually go on that long nor did the usual Rennie's help.
Also told that if it gets worse go back even it's in the middle of the night.
Wonderful treatment especially when you read how bad it is supposed to be now .
