or ENEDIS to be accurate.

Without wanting to be a bore, basically they are wrong and we are right about a bill, but they have cost us 100€ in tax/ cotisations that they say is not re-imboursable by them.

Anyone know what we can do? We have all the paperwork to prove they incorrectly billed us.

Yes !

You need to go to your local CLCV which is a bit like the Citizens Advice Bureau. They are there to protect consumers and can provide all sort of help ad advice. There was someone from TF who took on EDF via the CLCV and she won. We also had help from them and stopped AGF (insurance) trying to pull a fast one on us.

FINISTERE (29)
8 B, rue des Douves
29200 QUIMPER
Téléphone: 02 98 95 34 41
Mail: finistere@clcv.org
Site web: http://clcv-finistere.fr

Take all your paperwork plus, if possible, a letter from yourselves to EDF stating your case. If they think you need some additional legal clout, they'll tell you.

Normally you shouldn't have to pay anything for the advice. Anything more, and it's a pretty minimal charge.

Thanks, Scooby - I hope it goes well !
The trouble is, so much is computer generated and it's not always easy to get hold of a communicative human. It was so much better when there was an office you could walk into and talk to someone face to face.

To have to pay all the taxes twice is annoying but what is far worse is to be basically accused of lying by the person on the customer help line. That really grates.
