Looks as if Canal is changing the method of coding its TV transmissions, which could mean that your decoder box will not work on the 14/01/17 http://espaceclientcanal.canal-plus.com/news/cid8067-compatibilite-carte-39.html

They are going down the same street as canalsat who ignored their subscribers especially those of us with card only subs (65000 of us)
I had three months of agro with them when they went all HD all they are interested in are those hiring their substandard receiver.
I had to get my bank to stop my sub when I lost all channels.then got a court order so I told them to get stuffed as I wasn't going to continue paying for a service which I no longer received.
Looking on line it looks as if canal+ now will soon go into liquidation as they are losing so many subscribers, unless orange takes them over that is.

I got rid of Canal when they failed to bid enough to renew the PL rights. I haven't seen a match since :( but we've saved €45 a month in the process so OH is happy.
I'd no idea so many had cancelled, Papi. I thought that 65000 was a postcode when I saw it first

No 65000 was the number of card only subscribers as apposed to those renting their substandard set top box.
However both canalsat and canal+ have over the last year lost many more and according to a recent Figaro article are in trouble.
Having got rid of canalsat we now have fransat with all channels in HD,
Only thing now is the one Europort channel we have is the FTA German
A language I just can't get my head round but who needs it for sport.
