I've just read two books by this man, "Code 61" and "Known Dead" and they were both excellent.

He writes in a narrative style, unlike so many authors who have several plots going at once, jumping from one to the other just when you're getting interested. Naturally the plots come together in the end, but I cannot stand this style of writing.

Dan Harstad's style makes you feel he's talking to you and you really feel you're there. Lots of detail, but nothing I ever felt I wanted to skip (like P D James who over-describes the surroundings and other authors who insist on telling you what every character is wearing (-| )

I see they're in e-format too. Thanks for the tip, Blaze.

I had a look at the only sample on Kindle - "The long December" - read that - then I bought the book and it's a gripping story..
Good tip Blaze! :ymapplause:

edited to add: Finished it.. :ymapplause: Now that would make a terrific thriller .
